This version lets you turn off the game sound!!!!! If it would let you turn off the ads, that would be great too!

This is the only app I know of that after you pay and buy it, it keeps bothering you win on-screen ongoing ads and then by full screen pop up Ads. Save yourself the hassle and never install it!!!

Worst "up grade ever". Just an excuse to require player to watch noisy annoying ads. Smart players will play older version!

A five or 6 year old can understand the simple rules of play and enjoy the game. Strategic moves make the game equally enjoyable for an adult.

Every time you sign in or win, it throws ads up. Ads I would not want my child playing. This free version, like many these days, are not about you or the game, but selling other games so they make a kick back. The game is good and I would buy it.

Plays like the original game. Therapeutically good for scanning, problem solving.

Change the name to at least reflect the game. Heres an Idea... IWASTEYOURTIME. Now thats more like it. Ive been through 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 and Ive been called hostile for my comments. Whoever is writing the program for this game should be shown the door and told to work for your competitors because they are making your competition look really good.

This app will not open on ipad2 ios7. Whos minding the Apple Store?

I enjoy this game. Enjoyed playing it when it was a board game too.

Find version 2.3 version fun and challenging, grades of difficulty can be gradually increased. Unfortunately, found later version slow and cumbersome. Hope developers next upgrades builds on the strengths of 2.3.

I cant stop playing it!

Very different game ! Uses actual thinking skills. Reminds me of a board game from years ago!

I won my first game on easy level. The board was almost full, when I got the pop up window, saying that no possible moves and the computer has to resign. After I clicked OK, the pop up window was dismissed but the game locked up. Could not tap on anything, so I had to force the app to close. When I restarted, the game immediately choked at the startup screen. Initially I started to use the game with internet connection on, but during gameplay I shut it off to stop the ads coming. iPad 3 | iOS 7.1

I enjoy the game because it can be done quickly if you dont have a lot of time and it has several levels the middle levels are plenty challenging for me

Ive downloaded several "othello" games recently (and deleted several), but this one has the cleanest / nicest looking UI, the least irritating ads, and the most flexibility and greatest range of difficulty levels. I like and recommend it.

Keeps us thinking. Like the different levels.

The new version has more levels so its more challenging, which I love. I also enjoy how attractive the game is. Happy for the improvements of a game that was already classy.
